Our Services

Faith Baptist is committed to the exposition of Scripture. Our philosophy of worship in the services follows the historic Regulative Principle which encourages believers to Read the Bible, Preach the Bible, Sing the Bible, Pray the Bible, and See the Bible. The services are oriented around praising God by understanding his revelation.

SUNDAY SCHOOL

Adults are currently studying the book of 1 Peter.
Age appropriate classes are available for the children during this time.

SUNDAY MORNING

Everyone remains in the worship service on Sunday mornings. Our current study is a chronological exposition of the New Testament. Luke and Acts have provided the historical framework in which can be included all the New Testament books. Principally Paul's epistles are being inserted into their appropriate location in the outline of Acts. Right now the book of Romans is being systematically preached through. After a revisit of Acts to see the progression of Paul to his incarceration in Rome, the Prison Epistles of Ephesians, Philippians, Colossians, and Philemon will be studied.

SUNDAY AFTERNOON

Our afternoon service follows a time of fellowship around a meal each week. This allows times for our folks to take some time for fellowship. Anyone is welcome to participate in the meal. Usually plenty is left over. The service following the meals is broken into two units. The adults have been studying the Old Testament in chronological fashion. The first five books have been completed, and now the book of Joshua is being examined.

Children (12 and under) participate in Children's Church during this time.

Youth (12 and over) will have their own teen time at this time as well.

WEDNESDAY EVENING

The midweek service has been used to study the subject of prayer and exercise the privilege of prayer. The adults gather to review a book written on the subject. Our current book was written by Charles Spurgeon entitled, Prayer and Spiritual Warfare. After a half hour of study, the men and women separate into groups to pray.

During this time, the children (12 and below) gather for Patch the Pirate Club. This program is designed to teach biblical principles, but it is also a musically based program. The children are taught how to sing and provide special music in the Sunday services on a semi-regular basis.
